Throughout his career in advertising as an art director, creative director and executive creative director, Lew has been leading global brand campaigns for some of the world's most powerful companies including Visa, AT&T, HP, Heineken, Absolut, ExxonMobil, Reebok, Adidas, Playstation, (RED), IBM, Coca Cola, Levi's, AT&T and many more. Currently, Lew is a freelance creative director working with advertising agencies and a strategic social impact company. Most recently, Lew was Executive Creative Director at McCann/m:united on Microsoft, creating fully integrated campaigns in their top markets. Lew led a newsworthy holiday effort for Microsoft 'making peace with Apple' for the holidays and established a global campaign that features authentic stories from everyday people who work on Windows 10 and Microsoft Surface devices. The campaign continues to run today.
Prior, Lew was a senior creative director at BBDO where he worked on Visa, developing global campaigns, brand identity efforts as well as their global small business initiatives and Olympic advertising. He was part of the pitch team that won the ExxonMobil business and established a global production approach for Delvac diesel engine oil, a first for ExxonMobil. Lew also art directed the look and feel for IBM's Smarter Planet work that is still in market today. He has held creative titles and freelance positions at global advertising agencies including TBWA/Chiat/Day, Euro RSCG, mcgarrybowen, and JWT. Lew recently photographed a national campaign for the Atlantic Media Group focused on combating human trafficking.
Lew's work has been recognized and awarded around the world by D&AD, Art Directors Club, One Show, Communication Arts, Cannes, Archive, Graphis, New York Festivals, Clio, Effie, Phaidon's Advertising Today, Beldings, Shots, and Time Magazine "The 25 Most influential Super Bowl Ads Of All Time."
