IBM |  The Smarter Planet campaign was a response to CEO Sam Paulmisano's vision to infuse industries, services and governments with digital intelligence to make the world run smarter. The platform– a tagline, an ad campaign, a social media program, thought leadership op-eds, employee motivational program and overall rebranding effort– has generated 4,000 new client engagements for a total of $3B in new revenue for IBM.

Print and digital work presented complex IT subjects through abstract illustrations. This work was the first out of the gate for the Smarter Planet campaign–establishing design guidelines and standards that informed all of IBM's partner agencies to implement the look across all of IBM.
